This policy describes how Jianexus handles information when its private research and data-management tools use Google account services.
When a user authorizes a Jianexus tool through Google OAuth, the tool may access Google Drive as permitted by the scope shown on Google's authorization screen. This access is used to locate, create, update, verify, and manage data files required for the user's requested workflow.
Google account data is used only to provide the requested functionality. Jianexus does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or disclose it to third parties except when required by law or necessary to operate the requested service.
OAuth credentials and access tokens are used only for authentication and authorized API access. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect credentials from unauthorized access.
Data files remain under the user's control in the user's Google account. The user may revoke the application's Google account access through Google Account settings. Local authentication credentials may also be deleted to terminate access from the local tool.
This policy may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
